Cheer Sport Ireland (CSI) is the Ireland's only acting National Governing Body for cheerleading in Ireland. CSI is affiliated with both the International Cheer Union (ICU) and the European Cheer Union (ECU) — the global and continental authorities for the sport.
Through these recognised memberships, CSI governs cheerleading in Ireland in alignment with internationally established standards for safety, coaching, judging, and competition. This ensures that Irish athletes, coaches, and officials operate within the recognised international framework and provides the official pathway for Ireland to participate in European and ICU World Championship events, as well as international development and education programmes.

High Performance
For years, we have proudly celebrated our success with the development of the national cheerleading program, "Team Ireland." Since 2010, CSI has represented us at the ICU Cheerleading Worlds, and in 2025, we proudly claimed bronze medals on the global stage.
